Job summary

Guest Services, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Cheaha State Park in Delta, AL. The role involves routine buildings and grounds upkeep, painting, drywall repair, and diagnosing HVAC/equipment issues.

Qualifications

High School Diploma (or equivalent) required.
At least 2 years of facility maintenance or carpentry experience.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Proficient with hand and power tools; basic computer skills (Excel, Word).
English language skills for reading, writing and speaking.

Responsibilities

Paint and stain interior and exterior surfaces of buildings.
Repair walls, flooring, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and refrigeration equipment as needed.
Respond to emergencies and safety/security issues and coordinate with management.
Perform weekly preventative maintenance inspections and report findings.
Assist with landscaping, custodial tasks and general facility upkeep.
Operate company vehicles and use standard safety procedures.
