Qualifications

• Accredited high school diploma or USA equivalency.
• Three years of work experience in four different crafts; one year in carpentry, flooring, ceiling repair, and painting. Masonry/plaster/ceramic tile experience is desired.
• Demonstrated knowledge of interior/exterior paints, coatings and use of spray equipment.
• Must pass physical to wear respirator; clean-shaven when required.
• Experience with record keeping and basic computer data entry.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and installations across carpentry, flooring, wall, ceiling, and painting.
• Identify and resolve maintenance problems related to multi-skills craft.
• Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and vehicles; document inspections and work orders.
• Maintain accurate records for labor, materials, and safety data sheets.
• Respond to after-hours/emergency calls and adjust hours as needed.
• Comply with district policies and safety guidelines; communicate with principals and staff to complete jobs.
• Perform other duties as assigned and support district facilities maintenance.
