Oak Street Health in Stone Mountain, GA is seeking a Medical Assistant to support multiple providers. You will gather medical information, perform vital signs, screenings, and routine diagnostic testing to keep clinicians informed and care teams on track.

This full-time role requires MA certification or completion, 2 years as MA, CPR/BLS, EMR experience, and strong computer skills. You will stock rooms, handle patient requests, and assist with vaccines and point-of-care tests as allowed.

Qualifications

• State or national certification or MA course completion.
• Minimum 2 years of current Medical Assistant experience.
• CPR or BLS certification.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
• Ability to navigate multiple computer programs (Gmail/Docs/Sheets/Excel).
• US work authorization.
• Non-English language skills as required by center demographics.

Responsibilities

• Ensure an efficient patient flow; room patients promptly.
• Take vital signs, complete screenings and medication reviews.
• Inventory supplies and stock exam rooms.
• Respond to patient requests for telephonic support (lab results, records).
• Administer vaccinations and point-of-care tests where permitted.
• Import documents into EMR via scanning or PDF upload.
• Participate in care team meetings and clinic operations.
• Process orders for durable medical equipment.
• Request medical records from external providers.
• Maintain infection control measures and center lab duties.
