Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a Maintenance Technician to safely install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment across multiple trades in a facilities environment.

The role requires hands-on skills in plumbing, painting, HVAC, electrical work, and general maintenance, with emphasis on safety and customer service. Work hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, with a pay rate around $33.87–$34.87 per hour.

Qualifications

• Six months minimum experience in a company environment or equivalent experience and or training such as basic plumbing, painting, HVAC or construction.
• Two years Electrical Experience minimum.
• High School diploma or GED or equivalent combination of training and experience preferred.
• Must complete all safety, environmental and task training and or certifications.
• Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: May required to have a valid driver’s license. Forklift and electric pallet jack certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Self-Starter with Leadership and problem-solving skills
• Perform routine and predictive maintenance
• Perform general cleaning and maintains clean work area
• Mechanically inclined with the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment, electrical & mechanical issues and then repair
• Strong customer service skills
• Comfortable communicating complex issues with superior, co-workers and customers in a professional manner
• Proven ability to work safely in industrial environments
• Familiar with and utilize proper Lock Out/ Tag Out safety procedures
• Perform preventative equipment maintenance and repairs on all floor equipment, scrubbers, chariot vacuums, extractors, etc.
• Respond positively to requests in a timely manner
• Ability to use hand and power tools, use of scissor lifts, ladders and scaffolding.
• Soldering and welding a plus
• Maintain maintenance logs and schedules
