Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Machinist apprenticeship, vocational training, or equivalent hands‑on machining experience.
• Experience operating manual and/or CNC machining equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical documents.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
• Preferred: CNC machining, Manual lathe operation, Grinding, Milling, Precision machining, Machine setup, Quality inspection, and related industrial tooling.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain a variety of machining equipment including CNC machines, Manual lathes, Milling machines, grinders, Saws, and other precision manufacturing equipment.
• Support multiple manufacturing departments based on production priorities.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
• Set up machines and equipment to produce precision components to specification.
• Monitor machining operations to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and quality.
• Inspect completed parts using measuring equipment and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot machining and equipment issues to minimize downtime.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Assist with additional manufacturing tasks as business needs require.
