Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• CDA or AA in Early Childhood Education required or pursuing licensure.
• Enrolled in a program leading to a CDA or AA within 2 years of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide breaks, coverage for meetings, and substitute in the classroom as needed.
• Supervise children’s play and activities; observe and report behavior to the Teacher.
• Maintain classroom cleanliness and safety; assist with end-of-day routines and transport duties as needed.
• Assist with documentation to meet Office of Head Start and licensing regulations.
