Trinity Health Of New England is seeking a Float Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality, flexible nursing care across multiple hospital units. This role supports continuity of patient care and requires adaptability to different medical-surgical procedures and teams.

You will deliver care guided by nursing theory and evidence-based practices, communicate with patients and families, and educate on care plans and health promotion.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in Connecticut.
• Experience: 1 or more years of Inpatient Hospital RN experience
• BLS certification required; additional certifications (e.g., ACLS, PALS, NRP) may be required for certain departments.

Responsabilités

• Deliver patient care based on nursing theory, research, and evidence-based practices.
• Adapt to different units and medical-surgical procedures as needed.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Educate patients and caregivers about care plans, health promotion, and disease prevention.
• Manage emergent patient needs, admissions, and hospital rounds.
