Job summary

Yale NewHaven Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to uphold the organization’s mission, vision, and values while delivering patient-centered care. Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred.
• All newly hired RNs must have current BCLS certification or obtain within one month of hire.
• Licensed and currently registered nurse in the state of Connecticut. Clinical specialty certification encouraged.

Responsibilities

• RN practice guided by ANA Scope and Standards of Practice (2015).
• RNs practice ethically, with culturally congruent care, communication, collaboration, leadership, and evidence-based practice.
• Floating among inpatient med/surg units as needed.
