Job summary

University Partners is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance, respond to service requests, and support unit turns while delivering excellent customer service in our community spaces. The role covers repairs across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and other building systems, plus inspections, safety compliance, and on-site coverage during weekends and after-hours.

You must provide your own tools, work independently or with a team, and communicate professionally

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Solid knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliance repairs.
• Experience in building maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders and routine service requests promptly.
• Repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances, and carpentry.
• Inspect and maintain grounds, common areas, and vacant units.
• Assist with unit turns and vendor coordination.
• Report maintenance and safety concerns to the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections.
• On-call coverage on weekends, overtime, and after-hours.
• Communicate professionally with residents, vendors, and team.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance logs.
