Job summary

Murphy-harpst Childrens Centers Inc seeks a versatileFacilities Maintenance Technician to install, troubleshoot, and repair production and facility equipment. You will perform plumbing, painting, carpentry, grounds keeping and vehicle maintenance, with emergency repair duties as needed.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance on machines and facilities, detecting faults, and reporting unsafe conditions to supervision. HVAC experience is preferred, and a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Two years of verifiable facilities maintenance or construction experience.
• Knowledge of auto/small engine maintenance, plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry.
• HVAC experience is preferred.
• Completion of a craft apprenticeship or equivalent maintenance education.
• Must be 21+ with a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment.
• Perform plumbing, painting, grounds keeping, carpentry, installation and vehicle maintenance.
• Provide emergency repairs during use and perform preventive maintenance.
• Identify faulty operations and report unsafe conditions to supervision.
