Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Food Handler’s Permit required.
• Experience in food service preferred (1 year).
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and staff; basic safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation, hospitality duties, and meal service.
• Perform defined work routines using dining utensils, supplies and equipment.
• Follow sanitation guidelines and state regulations for healthcare dining.
• Open/close kitchen and dining rooms as needed.
• Wash and store dishes.
• Receive and store food and supplies.
