Candidates should work well independently or as part of a crew and maintain safety and quality on site. Responsibilities include building frames, installing forms for footings and slabs, reading plans, and collaborating with other trades to meet schedules.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional construction carpentry experience.
• Strong understanding of residential and/or commercial construction.
• Proven experience with framing and structural carpentry.
• Experience with concrete formwork is highly preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans.
• Strong knowledge of measurements, layout, levels, and elevations.
• Proficient with common hand and power tools.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
• Ability to work productively as part of a construction crew.
• Must be willing and able to perform physical construction work.

Responsibilities

• Perform rough and finish carpentry as required.
• Frame walls, floors, roofs, ceilings, and other structural components.
• Perform layout and accurately interpret construction plans.
• Build and install concrete forms for footings, beams, columns, walls, and slabs.
• Install blocking, backing, bracing, and structural supports.
• Perform wood framing and structural carpentry.
• Measure, cut, assemble, and install materials accurately.
• Assist with rebar, concrete, masonry, drywall, and other construction activities when needed.
• Install doors, windows, trim, and other carpentry components as required.
• Identify and correct framing and construction issues.
• Maintain proper alignment, level, plumb, and dimensions throughout construction.
• Safely operate common construction tools and equipment.
• Work alongside and assist other trades to maintain project schedules.
• Help train or guide less-experienced workers when necessary.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite.
