Job summary

Kaw Nation seeks a Multi-Purpose Aide to support the Child Care Center in Newkirk, OK. The role involves maintaining a safe, nurturing environment for children and assisting with classroom management when teachers are unavailable.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Background check, accreditation and Drug test.
• Valid Driver’s License and be insurable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and nurturing environment for children.
• Promote Kaw Nation Child Care Center in a positive way to parents/community.
• Provide classroom management during teacher absence.
• Handle laundry and keep laundry area clean.
• Cover for teachers during lunch/breaks and when needed.
• Maintain client confidentiality and attend childcare meetings/training.
• Keep both buildings clean (bathrooms, entryways, common areas, kitchen, laundry).
• Assist in all classrooms as needed and drive a van for school pickups/field trips.
