Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking skilled carpenters to join our team in a hands-on, on-site role. The position offers a top hourly base rate of $44.635, with a starting rate of $44.435 and increases after three consecutive months of employment.

Comprehensive health benefits and a robust 401(k) plan are provided. Candidate must have completed a bona fide apprenticeship, or have 8 years of related experience, or a combination of work and training equivalent to an apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• Requires completion of a bona fide apprenticeship or 8 years of prior experience or a combination.
• Ability to follow safety rules and instructions, work in a team, and maintain good attendance.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair furniture and hardware, stairs, scaffolding and wood platforms.
• Paint general building, office, plant, and industrial equipment.
• Install windows, tile floors and walls, and wooden doors and hardware.
• Fabricate and assemble components and crates for shipment.
