Kriss Law in Vermont is seeking a detail-oriented paralegal with real estate closing experience to support residential and commercial transactions. The role focuses on title review, document drafting, and coordinating closings with clients and lenders in Vermont.

The candidate will assist with HUD-1/CD preparation, closing scheduling, and provide guidance on Vermont real estate procedures. This on-site, full-time position offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in real estate transactions preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Vermont real estate law, title review, and closing procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Assist with residential and commercial real estate closings in Vermont.
• Draft, review, and approve legal documents related to real estate transactions (deeds, affidavits, settlement statements, titles, etc.).
• Provide legal guidance to staff, lenders, agents, and clients regarding Vermont real estate law and closing procedures.
• Maintain compliance with all applicable laws and professional regulations.
• Ensure proper execution and delivery of closing documents.
• Participate in business development efforts and support the growth of our Vermont operations.
