Job summary

MSA Safety Inc. is seeking a motivated student to join our verification engineering team in Pittsburgh, PA.

You will test products and technology that enhance safety for firefighters and industrial workers, applying engineering mindset to design test systems and procedures. You will work with technology stacks, receive mentorship, and contribute to test harness development, software verification, automation, and requirements analysis.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in ABET-accredited program in Electrical/CS/CE/SE or related field
• Experience with software verification and test systems preferred
• Ability to communicate and work in a team effectively

Responsibilities

• Test products and technology to enhance safety for firefighters, industrial workers, and the environment.
• Design test systems and procedures for verification engineering.
• Engage with technology stacks and receive coaching from a skilled team.
• Live and work in Pittsburgh, PA with housing stipend for eligible candidates.
• Learn verification engineering through test harness development, software development, automation, test execution and requirements analysis.
