MSA Safety is seeking a motivated student to join our verification engineering team in the Pittsburgh, PA area. You will help test products and technology that enhance safety for firefighters and industrial workers, applying software verification practices and engineering thinking.

The role emphasizes hands-on learning across test harness development, automation, and requirements analysis, with mentoring from a seasoned team. Housing stipend is available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an ABET-accredited program with a major in Electrical/Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Software Engineering or related field.
• Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to work in a team.
• Familiarity with hardware/software development lifecycle and verification challenges.

Responsabilités

• Test products and technology to improve firefighter and industrial safety.
• Design test systems and procedures for verification.
• Mentor and collaborate within a skilled cross-functional team.
• Relocate or reside near Pittsburgh, PA, with housing stipend support.
