Job summary

SunSource—K+S Services division is seeking a Verification Technician to perform verifications and calibrations to ISO 17025 standards in a plant environment. You will maintain daily routes, work with customers, and uphold company and customer requirements.

This role requires a 2-year degree with technical experience, familiarity with torque calibrations and ISO procedures, and solid Microsoft Office skills along with strong communication abilities.

Qualifications

• 2-year college degree with technical experience preferred.
• Experience with torque calibrations and ISO procedures preferred.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Excellent written and verbal communication and multitasking ability.
• Able to stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform verifications and calibration according to ISO 17025 standards.
• Maintain a daily schedule for upcoming verifications and calibrations of customer’s equipment.
• Update the Quality system (QME) to maintain verification/calibration requirements.
• Collaborate with plant personnel and manage processes to meet company metrics.
• All personnel may be required to perform duties outside of their normal responsibilities from time to time, as required.

The Verification Technician performs all tasks associated with verifying and calibrating equipment in a plant environment to ensure the quality of customer products. This role must be familiar with following ISO 17025 work instructions and forms related to calibrations. You will maintain daily routes and schedules plant wide, work closely with customers to provide support, and maintain company and customer requirements.

What You’ll Do

What We Need from You

• 2-year college degree with technical experience preferred.
• Previous experience preferred, related to torque calibrations and ISO procedures.
• Basic computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Effective communication skills (oral/written) with the ability to multitask.
• Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods of time with no lifting restrictions.
