Job summary

K+S Services, a SunSource company, seeks a Vibration Technician in Taylor, MI to join our team. You will test and analyze spindles, conduct on-site vibration analysis, and work with senior technicians to ensure running equipment meets vibration tolerances.

• High School Diploma or equivalent; electro-mechanical associate’s degree or equivalent work experience is a plus.
• Certified in vibration analysis.
• Two years of experience as a Vibration Technician preferred.
• Proficiency with Emerson (CSI) 2120/2130/2140 is preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, precision measuring devices and knowledge of bearing assemblies.
• Knowledge of servo spindle drives is considered a plus.
• Strong mechanical understanding of industrial equipment.
• Troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Effective communication skills (oral/written).

Responsibilities

• Test and analyze spindles with senior vibration technician to ensure vibration levels are within tolerance.
• Analyze vibration data to determine fault frequencies of bearing systems.
• Perform field balancing as required.
• Occasionally travel to customer sites to perform on-site vibration analysis.

Vibration Technician

Our elite team allows us to provide our customers with quality spindle repair, rebuild and retrofit services. We are seeking a Vibration Technician in our Taylor, MI location. On the job training will be provided as required. Salary and benefits commensurate with experience.

What You’ll Do:

• Work closely with our senior vibration technician to test and analyze spindles, ensuring vibration levels are within tolerance and set up run-off for finished product
• Analyze vibration data to determine fault frequencies of bearing systems
• Perform field balancing as required
• Occasionally travel to customer sites to perform on-site vibration analysis

What We Need from You:
