Job summary

Johnson Service Group, Inc. is seeking a Verification Engineer I for a global medical device client in Goleta, CA. The contract role is onsite for 6 months with competitive hourly pay.

You will design and execute verification testing for advanced medical imaging devices, analyze results, and document findings to ensure products meet design specifications and quality standards. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential, and opportunities exist to improve automated testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline is required.
• 3+ years of engineering experience in product testing, verification, validation, or systems engineering.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with ability to write clear technical reports.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard computer applications.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop verification test procedures for new products and system enhancements.

Contract - 6 months | Onsite | $50 - $55 per Hr.

We are seeking a Verification Engineer to support the testing and verification of advanced medical imaging devices and systems. In this role, you will design and execute verification testing, evaluate system performance, analyze results, and document findings to ensure products meet design specifications and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop verification test procedures for new products and system enhancements.

Qualifications

Required

• 3+ years of engineering experience in product testing, verification, validation, or systems engineering.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write clear technical reports.


• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard computer applications.


• Strong organizational and time management skills.


• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.

Preferred

• Master's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline


• Experience performing design or systems verification in a regulated industry such as medical devices, aerospace, automotive, or life sciences.


• Experience testing complex electromechanical devices and systems.


• Familiarity with requirements management tools such as DOORS, Polarion, PTC Integrity, or similar platforms.


• Working knowledge of product development methodologies including V-Model, Agile, and Lean.


• Experience with test automation or programming tools such as MATLAB, LabVIEW, or similar software.


• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing project requirements, and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment with professionalism and accountability.
