In this role, you will be responsible for both the verification and validation of the Fly-By-Wire software adhering to DO-178 standards. You will design and review requirement-based tests to verify the software per DO-178C. You will assist in the development of certifiable flight automation technologies and cost-efficient processes for the new Urban Commercial Aviation industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Write and review requirement-based test cases and procedures to verify embedded flight software per DO-178C objectives.
  • Perform unit tests and debug software based on the verification tests.
  • Create software verification solutions for efficient workflow using LDRA, C/C++, Python.
  • Support low level software testing using LDRA, C/C++, Python
  • Support software and verification checklist activities for SOI audits with the FAA and the DER

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering discipline
  • 5 - 10 years of professional working experience
  • Strong coding experience in Python or C/C++
  • Verification testing experience on LDRA and/or C/C++
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently with minimal supervision to influence organization
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in software requirement development and requirement-based test development

Salary Range: $120,000-135,000

The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience
