Job summary

Legends Global in California is seeking a hands-on POS technician to provide level 1 & 2 support for our point-of-sale systems. You will conduct venue walk-throughs, replace defective hardware during events, and diagnose software or hardware issues to keep operations seamless.

The role requires strong communication, the ability to work onsite at events, and physical fitness to lift up to 50 lbs. This is a full-time position aligned with our hospitality and live events services ethos.

Qualifications

• Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities required.

• Ability to stand, walk long distances, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide level 1 & 2 support to all point-of-sale system problems.
• Initiate improvements to assigned areas.
• Conduct venue walk-through to ensure systems are operational.
• Replacement of defective hardware before, during and after events.
• Diagnoses of software, firmware & hardware errors.
• Maintain knowledge of the organization and adhere to standards and practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide level 1 & 2 support to all point-of-sale system problems and elevate when necessary
• Initiates and implement improvements to areas of responsibility
• Conduct venue walk-through to ensure all systems are operational prior to and during all events
• Replacement of defective hardware before, during and after events
• Diagnoses of software, firmware & hardware errors and breakage
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of the organization and adheres to all standards and practices

Qualifications

• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills; proven ability to organize, manage, and complete multiple tasks in an efficient and timely fashion; strong verbal and written communication and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.
• Must be able to adapt to environment changes immediately
• Highly effective oral presentation and written communication skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft applications to include operating system, office systems
• Ability to be on feet and walk long distances
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
• Pay rate: $20/hr Practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies and procedures and regulations, complete company-wide safety training and any additional job specific safety training.
