Job summary

The Magnolia at El Cajon, CA is seeking a Part-time Venue Security Lead to guard, patrol, and monitor the venue to prevent theft, violence, and rule infractions. You will assist security supervisors and help manage staff during events, including potential metal detector operation.

Required: high school diploma or equivalent; security/law enforcement experience preferred; Guard Card a plus; strong communication, judgment, and teamwork; able to walk, climb stairs, lift 50 lbs+, and maintain

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience required.
• Security/Law Enforcement experience preferred.
• Guard Card a plus.
• Good working knowledge of security operations and safety practices.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Circulate among guests and employees to preserve safety and order.
• Monitor entrances/exits to prevent theft and ensure security of premises.
• Write reports on daily activities, irregularities, or incidents.
• Patrol premises and supervise security staff as needed.
• Operate metal detectors or screening equipment as required.
• Assist in closing the venue and securing equipment after events.
