Job summary

Hightop Hospitality is seeking a Venue Sales & Operations Manager to join our onsite venue and catering division in the Twin Cities. You will manage all venue sales activity and day-to-day event execution for multiple centers, staying hands-on and focused on client experience.

The role emphasizes accountability, relationship-building, and delivering memorable events, with a base salary ($55,000–$60,000) plus commission, bonus, and benefits.

Qualifications

  • Experience in venue sales, event sales, or venue/event management with demonstrated success in booking and executing events.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage contracts, timelines, and event details accurately.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to anticipate client, guest, and operational needs.
  • Demonstrated problemsolving skills with the ability to remain calm, professional, and guest-focused when navigating last-minute changes or challenges.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
  • Professional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs occasionally (event setup and teardown).
  • Fulltime availability to work onsite, with a schedule that regularly includes nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed monthly and annual venue booking goals.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all sales inquiries and venue tours.
  • Create and present venue availability, proposals, and contracts to prospective leads.
  • Actively sell venue offerings, catering services, and event enhancements.
  • Plan and execute sales-focused marketing events such as open houses, wedding fairs, and tours.
  • Capture and submit event highlights, visuals, and content ideas to support social media and marketing efforts.
  • Oversee event planning, coordination, and onsite day-of-event execution.
  • Manage day-to-day venue operations, including timelines, layouts, and event logistics.
  • Serve as the primary client contact throughout the planning process, event day, and post-event follow-up.
  • Coordinate and partner with catering teams, vendors, and internal partners to ensure seamless events.
  • Lead by example to create a professional, client and guest-focused environment for staff and vendors.
  • Assist with event setup and teardown as needed.
  • Complete weekly and monthly sales and operations reporting.
  • Maintain accurate booking, revenue, and event documentation.
  • Complete post-event followups and report feedback to the Venue Director.
  • Uphold brand standards, service quality, and operational consistency.
  • Support Hightop Hospitality venues and catering teams as needed.

Hightop Hospitality is seeking a Venue Sales & Operations Manager to join our growing venue and catering division. This is an onsite, fulltime, handson role responsible for all venue sales activity and daytoday event execution for multiple event centers in the Twin Cities. Our ideal candidate is a motivated and confident, hospitalityfocused professional who thrives at the intersection of venue sales, operational execution, and client relationships. You will be accountable for the full event lifecycle and overall client experience, while consistently meeting venue booking goals. What You’ll Do
Sales & Booking Performance
