Job summary

Enchantment in Sedona is seeking an outgoing, energetic bartender/server to provide expedited, professional beverage and food service at the pool bar. You will learn the menus, mix drinks, and assist guests and resort staff with a friendly, attentive approach.

The role requires a high school diploma, neat appearance, current food handler certification, and prior bartending and serving experience. English communication is essential; computer skills are helpful.

Qualifications

• Must maintain current food handler’s certification.
• Prior bartending and serving experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Arrive on time in uniform and ready to work.
• Know all menus including wine, beer and liquor.
• Take and deliver food and beverage orders promptly.
• Serve guests and staff in established standards.
• Follow established beverage recipes.
• Know liquor laws and responsible service.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation.
• Be ambassador of Enchantment; speak positively.
• Collaborate with coworkers to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Report to Restaurant Manager at shift end.

How you will enjoy your day

To facilitate food and beverage service to each guest in an expedient, professional and courteous manner at the Pool Bar. Support other servers in all food and beverage services around the pool deck.

Work Performed

• Arrive at scheduled start time in appropriate uniform and ready for work.
• Uniform must be neat and pressed.
• Collect and set up any necessary equipment to perform job including all side-work.
• Know all menus (i.e. food, wine, beer and liquor).
• Take food and beverage orders in complete and timely fashion.
• Serve guest and internal employees in established standards.
• Execute beverage service following established recipes.
• Know laws of liquor service.
• Keep workstation clean at all times.
• Read all memos.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude towards guests and co-workers.
• Operate Silverware in proficient manner.
• Report to Restaurant Manager before ending work shift.
• Act as an ambassador of Enchantment by speaking positively of the Resort at all times.
• Foster a work environment of teamwork and mutual service by assisting co-workers and other departments as necessary to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Know resort layout.
• Work efficiently and as a team.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent. Must work well with or without direct supervision. Must be neat and well groomed at all times. Needs to be flexible, self motivated, positive and have a professional attitude towards guests, co-worker and management. Must maintain current food handler’s certification. Prior bartending and serving experience desired. English skills necessary to communicate with guests. Computer skills helpful. Knowledge of liquor laws
