DLA Piper is seeking a Finance associate to join its Venture & Growth subgroup in New York or California offices (New York, Los Angeles, Palo Alto, San Francisco, San Diego). Candidates should have a minimum of four years of lender‑side representation for commercial finance matters.

Experience representing banks and/or private credit funds on loans to technology, life sciences and/or middle‑market companies is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum four years of lender-side representation for commercial finance matters.
• Bar admission in the jurisdiction of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform legal research and analysis to support case/transaction preparation.
• Draft briefs, contracts, and correspondence with high accuracy.
• Assist/manage complex cases/transactions from inception to resolution.
• Collaborate with lawyers and business professionals to develop strategies.
• Maintain strong client relationships with timely updates and professional conduct.
