Job summary

Enpal in Berlin is seeking a curious, motivated student to join our team as a Business Process & Analytics Intern. You will analyse business processes, gather requirements, and translate needs into practical solutions across teams.

You will work on data flows, workflows, and optimization projects, documenting rules and supporting scalable ways of working. Fluency in English is required; German is a plus, and hybrid work with relocation options may apply.

Qualifications

• Currently studying Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related Technical field.
• Strong analytical thinking and interest in understanding how businesses operate.
• You have a strong analytical mindset and enjoy investigating how systems, processes, and data flows interact across an organization.
• Experience with tools such as GitHub, Claude Code, SQL, or similar platforms is a plus.
• You work in a structured and solution-oriented way, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.
• You are highly organized, proactive, and able to work independently.
• You learn quickly and enjoy exploring unfamiliar topics across different business domains.
• You speak fluent English, German is a plus.

Responsibilities

• You analyse and understand business processes, identify inefficiencies, and uncover opportunities for improvement.
• You collaborate closely with stakeholders across different teams to gather requirements, structure challenges, and translate business needs into clear solutions.
• You investigate existing workflows, data flows, and operational structures to create transparency and support informed decision-making.
• You support strategic and operational projects from problem definition through implementation.
• You document processes, requirements, and business rules in a structured and comprehensible way.
• You support the optimization and standardization of business processes and help establish scalable ways of working across the organization.
