Job summary

TrueBridge’s Summer Analyst Program is a highly selective 10-week internship for rising seniors who want a real seat at the table in venture capital. Summer Analysts join our investment team in Chapel Hill and work on live opportunities across our fund, direct, and secondary strategies, contributing analysis that informs actual investment decisions.

Ideal candidates have a minimum 3.5 GPA, an interest in VC and technology, strong financial skills, and proficiency with Excel and AI-native tools.

Qualifications

Minimum GPA 3.5 and rising junior/senior.
Interest in venture capital and technology via internships or coursework.
Strong financial and analytical skills; Excel proficiency and familiarity with AI tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Self-starter with ability to work independently and in teams; entrepreneurial mindset.
U.S. work authorization and willingness to relocate to Raleigh/Chapel Hill for summer.

Responsibilities

Evaluate prospective fund, direct, and secondary investments.
Build financial models and benchmarking analyses used to assess returns and risk.
Prepare investment memos and summaries for the investment committee.
Track the performance of existing fund and direct investments.
Build and maintain proprietary data on transactions, valuations and the venture market.
Use AI-native tools to speed up research and analysis.
