Job summary

Silverton Partners in Austin, TX is seeking a Venture Capital Associate to support the investment team through sourcing, evaluating early-stage companies, and building financial models. The role includes preparing investment memos, presentations, and assisting in due diligence for potential investments.

You will cultivate relationships across the startup ecosystem, attend industry events, and help strengthen Silverton’s presence in growth markets while collaborating with partners and team

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of investment or M&A experience (VC/PE, investment banking) and/or startup experience.
• AI fluency: knowledge of AI infrastructure ecosystem and software stack.
• BS/BA degree or higher, technical/engineering background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify, source, and evaluate new investment opportunities.
• Perform investment analysis & modeling; build financial models.
• Prepare investment memos and presentations for internal discussions.
• Support portfolio companies and fundraising initiatives.
• Develop and maintain strong professional networks inside and outside the Silverton network.
