Job summary

Memorial Healthcare System is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide care for patients with cardiopulmonary disorders. The role focuses on ventilator-dependent care, routine nebulizer treatments, and non-manual chest therapies, with occasional EKGs. You will contribute to patient well-being in home or post-acute settings and participate in a rotating weekend schedule.

Two days per week, 6:30am–7pm, weekend rotation every 3rd week. Post-acute experience preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• Current Florida BLS certification or equivalent.
• Eligible for state licensure as Respiratory Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Responds to codes and emergent calls and delivers appropriate therapy.
• Administers ventilator support and nebulizer treatments as ordered.
• Documents patient condition and updates care plans.
• Educates patients and families about treatment and home-care resources.
• Assesses respiratory care policies and participates in quality improvement.
