Job summary

Meadowbrook Care Center in Cincinnati, Ohio is seeking a dedicated RT to join our brand-new Vent Unit. This PRN position offers a chance to make a meaningful impact on patients' lives in a nurturing, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program.
• Active Ohio Respiratory Care Practitioner License.
• Experience in vent care or long-term care preferred.
• Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate mechanical ventilators and related equipment.
• Administer oxygen therapy and aerosol medications as prescribed.
• Monitor patient response and vital signs.
• Assist with breathing exercises and recovery plans.
• Ensure equipment is functioning safely and efficiently.
• Document therapy and patient progress in charts.
• Collaborate with physicians and care team members.
• Train staff and contribute to best practices in respiratory care.
