Job summary

CCN International creates custom, high-end office furniture and is seeking a hands-on supervisor to lead the Veneer Press and Machine Room teams. You will guide employees, solve production challenges, and help ensure every component meets our standards for quality and craftsmanship.

You will plan daily production, provide technical guidance across veneer prep, CNC, edge banding, and finishing, inspect work, train staff, and collaborate with other departments to boost throughput and quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Supervisory or leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Significant experience in veneer processing, woodworking, machining, furniture manufacturing, architectural millwork, or a related field.
• Knowledge of veneer fabrication, wood materials, adhesives, substrates, and quality standards.
• Ability to read production drawings, work orders, specifications, and measurements.
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot equipment, production, and quality issues.
• Ability to organize work, manage competing priorities, and train and coach employees.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise daily production to meet quality and delivery requirements.
• Provide technical guidance in veneer preparation, matching and pressing, panel fabrication, CNC machining, edge banding, and sanding.
• Inspect work, resolve quality and equipment issues, and keep materials and jobs moving through production.
• Train and coach employees, set clear expectations, and maintain a safe, organized work area.
• Work with other departments to resolve bottlenecks and improve production processes.
