# Vendor Services ContractorApply**Job#: 3053175****Job Description:**Vendor Services Contractor**Location:** Indiantown, Florida (Onsite)Role OverviewThis position is for a Vendor Services Contractor responsible for supporting vendor-related activities during all phases of outages, including pre-outage, outage, and post-outage. This role ensures effective communication with vendors, accurate processing of invoices, and thorough documentation. The contractor will interact with vendors to manage contracts, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with expectations.Key Responsibilities* Gain a thorough understanding of all outage-related Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure they are accurately set up, submitting change orders as necessary.* Establish and maintain clear communication with vendors to set expectations and address concerns.* Confirm vendor rates are accurate per the vendor contract or quote.* Participate in regular meetings with vendors and cost leads to prevent unanticipated costs.* Adjust or communicate errors on POs or service confirmations to prevent payment delays.* Approve service confirmations and monitor burn rates.* Ensure vendors provide weekly summaries and daily service confirmations.* Ensure non-ERS vendors convert service confirmations to invoices and assist vendors with invoice-related issues.* Participate in cost negotiations and provide vendor reviews.* Ensure all rentals are returned and invoicing is completed.* Conduct thorough evaluations of vendor performance, including management of scope changes, compliance with expectations, and quality of work.Required Qualifications**Education:** A designation as a paralegal or other relevant college degree is required.**Experience:** 10+ years of experience in contract negotiations, legal compliance, and financial risk management.**Technical Skills:** Proficiency with Microsoft Word.Preferred Qualifications* Expert-level knowledge in contract law, compliance frameworks, and financial risk mitigation.* Technical knowledge of power plant equipment and skill in understanding and resolving technical issues. *Everforth Apex is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
