LMI is seeking a proactive Vendor Network Program Manager to build and expand a high-quality network of subcontracting partners for a large multi-site IT program in the Washington, DC area.

The role reports to the Mission Integration Lead and supports the Sr. Program Manager. A strong relationship-builder with deep coordination skills is ideal, with travel and security-clearance requirements as noted in the qualifications.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

LMI is seeking a proactive, relationship-driven Vendor Network Manager to support a large, multi-site enterprise IT program by building and expanding a high quality network of subcontracting partners. Reporting to the Mission Integration Lead and supporting the Sr. Program Manager, this individual will identify, engage, qualify, and onboard new vendors and teaming partners to meet evolving program staffing and capability needs across multiple government locations.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a strong network of current and prospective partners, proactively identifying capability, staffing, geographic, and technical gaps based on anticipated program and task order needs.
• Support task order strategy and response development by recommending the appropriate partner mix, aligning vendors to capability and staffing needs, coordinating partner inputs, and preparing selected vendors for kickoff and execution.
• Own the programmatic and operational relationship with partner vendors across the full lifecycle, including identification, assessment, activation, integration, performance management, and offboarding.
• Assess vendor capabilities, cleared-talent availability, capacity, past performance, and program fit, and maintain current information on partner strengths, limitations, personnel, locations, and relevant experience.
• Continuously assess partner performance, responsiveness, capacity, and emerging risks, and recommend corrective actions, expanded or reduced utilization, new capabilities, or offboarding as appropriate.
• Work with partner vendors and internal teams to interpret Government requirements, identify required skills and talent, build integrated delivery teams, and resolve operational issues affecting execution.
• Coordinate across Subcontracts, Recruiting, Security, Onboarding, Program Leadership, and other functions to ensure required contractual, staffing, access, and readiness activities completed on time, while serving as the primary program point of contact for partner vendors.

Location: Washington, DC metro area, with travel to program locations.

Travel: Approximately 25% to support activities across multiple program locations.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
• 4+ years of relevant experience in vendor or partner management, program operations, staffing, recruiting, business development, military operations, customer engagement, or a related field.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to establish credibility and manage productive relationships with external partners and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to understand complex program and Government requirements and translate them into partner capability, staffing, and execution needs.
• Demonstrated ability to assess organizational capabilities, talent, capacity, and program fit and develop sound recommendations based on those assessments.
• Strong organizational skills, initiative, and follow-through, with ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders, competing priorities, and time-sensitive requirements in a fast-moving environment.
• Existing Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance required. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Preferred

• Experience managing subcontractors, teaming partners, strategic partners, suppliers, or other external organizations supporting complex Government programs.
• Experience supporting task order responses, proposals, capture activities, staffing plans, or program startup and transition efforts.
• Experience evaluating partner or supplier performance and recommending corrective actions, expanded or reduced utilization, or replacement.
• Familiarity with Special Access Program (SAP) environments, classified staffing and onboarding, or other highly controlled Government programs.

TS/SCI clearance and SAP eligibility are required for this position. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. LMI will only consider applicants with current security clearances. Please note that only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Target salary range: $125,000 - $200,000
