Job description

ServicePoint is a premier technology and engineering solutions provider delivering high-quality, scalable services across data centers, enterprise environments, and mission-critical infrastructure. Our success is driven by strong execution in the field—and equally strong support behind the scenes.

Position Summary

The Vendor Manager plays a key role in identifying and leveraging new opportunities to strengthen ServicePoint's market position and drive revenue growth. This is a strategic and supervisory role: the Vendor Manager owns the overall vendor strategy end-to-end — not just executing existing processes — including vendor relationship oversight, compliance, rebate ownership, and alignment of vendor programs with company revenue goals. This role is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key vendor partners, ensuring alignment between vendor programs and the ServicePoint brand, and collaborating cross-functionally with sales, finance, and executive leadership to translate vendor partnerships into measurable business results.

Vendor Management
Role

Effective vendor management is crucial for maintaining strong relationships with key vendors. As a manager-level owner of vendor strategy (not a purely tactical/execution role), this involves:

  • Owning the overall vendor strategy and relationship portfolio, ensuring alignment with ServicePoint's company goals
  • Deciding which vendors to partner with and assessing the ROI of vendor programs, rather than simply executing existing ones
  • Negotiating vendor terms, pricing, and program benefits on ServicePoint's behalf
  • Managing vendor compliance requirements to protect ServicePoint's standing and access across programs
  • Educating and certifying on top vendors' partner programs
  • Creating and maintaining relationships with key vendor contacts
  • Collaborating with vendors on marketing campaigns across various mediums (email marketing, social media, collateral, website, events, etc.)
  • Strategizing with vendor contacts and implementing on business development
Partner Program Management
  • Training & Certification Credentials
  • Developing a long‑term training strategy with vendors, ensuring sales and technical team participation, measuring training effectiveness, and aligning training with revenue-driving goals — including building technician certification and enablement programs company-wide
  • Owning enrollment, completion, and timely renewal of vendor certifications and training credentials required to maintain partner standing
  • Tracking certification requirements across all top vendor programs and ensuring sales and technical staff hold the credentials needed to unlock partner pricing, MDF, and other benefits
  • Rebates
  • Owning vendor rebate targets end‑to‑end: building the reporting structures needed to track performance, identifying gaps in revenue capture, and setting processes to increase design‑win participation and rebate maximization
  • Managing vendor rebate programs operationally: tracking qualifying purchases and activities, submitting claims ahead of deadlines, and reconciling payouts against program terms
  • Forecasting rebate returns to support Finance in budgeting and margin planning
  • Partner Status & Tier Strategy
  • Developing and executing a tier strategy to achieve and maintain optimal partner status (e.g., Gold, Platinum, Elite) with each key vendor
  • Monitoring tier requirements — revenue thresholds, certifications, deal registration volume — and proactively closing gaps before renewal periods
  • Negotiating improved program benefits, pricing, and support levels as partner status increases
  • Systems & Tools Oversight
  • Designing and overseeing the structure of vendor tracking tools and processes rather than simply maintaining them
  • Making decisions on technology solutions (e.g., CRM/Salesforce integration) to support vendor program management and reporting
  • Ensuring reporting infrastructure supports vendor strategy and gives leadership visibility into performance against revenue goals
  • Appropriately assigning leads
Thought Leadership / Industry Trends
  • Researching and educating on industry trends
  • Creating content and campaigns around thought leadership and trending topics
  • Sharing analyses with vendors to provide recommendations for future initiatives
Performance Analysis
  • Collaborating with sales on the ROI of marketing activities
  • Tracking and following leads from marketing through to sales
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in vendor management, channel/partner marketing, or a related field
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with external partners and internal stakeholders
  • Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills
  • Experience developing and executing co‑marketing campaigns across multiple channels (email, social, events, web)
  • Comfort analyzing performance data and translating insights into actionable recommendations
  • Hands‑on experience managing vendor partner programs, including certifications/training credentials, rebate submissions, tier/status requirements, and deal registration
  • Demonstrated experience owning vendor strategy at a strategic level — vendor selection, ROI assessment, and contract/term negotiation — rather than purely operational execution
  • Experience building or overseeing reporting structures and systems (e.g., CRM/Salesforce) that support vendor program management and rebate forecasting
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, finance, and executive leadership, including leading initiatives or supervising supporting staff
ServicePoint Opportunity

This role offers significant potential for growth and development within the company.
