Job summary

Santander US is seeking an Associate, Vendor Management in Austin to lead vendor relationships and ensure adherence to Third-Party Risk Management standards. You will conduct business reviews, monitor performance, and coordinate onboarding for new vendors in a fast-paced finance environment.

The role requires 5+ years in vendor management, strong negotiation skills, and a proven ability to drive results across procurement, legal, and finance teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in vendor management, partner relations, or a similar role within similar industry.
• Proven track record of successfully managing vendor relationships and driving results.
• Strong understanding of TPRM standards and best practices.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with vendor management software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform business reviews, exit strategies, and Inherent Risk Assessments while ensuring adherence to TPRM Standards.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors, maintaining open lines of communication and addressing concerns promptly.
• Manage the onboarding process for new vendors, including timelines, documentation, and introductory meetings.
• Request and review certificates of insurance to ensure contractual compliance.
• Oversee timely upload and review of vendor reports, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with procurement, legal, and finance to streamline processes and resolve vendor issues.
• Monitor vendor performance metrics and provide regular updates to stakeholders, driving improvements and corrective actions.
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with business line owners you support.
