Job summary

MISO seeks a seasoned vendor management professional to lead performance, risk and relationship management across the organization. The role emphasizes developing vendor scorecards, driving optimization, and ensuring contract deliverables are met.

The candidate will communicate with executives, collaborate across functions, and leverage analytics to inform strategic procurement decisions. Base salary ranges reflect state/local pay transparency and vary by experience and location.

Qualifications

• Masters degree preferred.
• Certifications mentioned: CPSM, CIPS, CTPE, SFIA.

• Monitor compliance with contract deliverables and manage corrective actions
• Build strong, trust-based relationships across all levels of the organization
• Effectively develop, interpret, and act on data visualizations and analytics, particularly with regards to trends in vendor performance, activity, and risk, while demonstrating superior communication skills rooted in empathy and integrity to clearly convey insights, influence stakeholders, and foster collaborative vendor relationships

• Certifications preferred:
• Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS)
• Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM)
• Certified Technology Procurement Executive (CTPE)

The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $145,000-170,000 USD annually. Base salary range for this position is included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, and qualifications/experience.
