Quest Safety Products Inc. in Indianapolis is seeking a Vendor-Managed Inventory (VMI) Specialist to manage on-site replenishments, disbursements, and customer inventory with accuracy.
You will work with Epicor Prophet 21 and MS Excel, perform stockroom duties, and occasionally visit nearby customer sites to deliver product and optimize inventory levels. Strong Excel, communication, and on-site support are essential.

Within the Vendor-Managed Inventory (VMI) Specialist position, activities include product disbursement and other basic inventory management activities at the customer location. In working with the other VMI team members, there will be times you may visit other customers around the Indianapolis area to deliver product and manage customer inventory.
This position will utilize the functionality of systems and applications such as Epicor Prophet 21 (P21) and the Microsoft Office suite (specifically MS Excel). The tools that will be employed would include desktop computers, laptops, and tablets. Customer interface communication skills are required. It is also expected that the person in this position will have a basic understanding of site-specific performance metrics. This is a combination of customer service, material handling, sales, and inventory management, i.e., lifting and moving boxes of product (20-60 lbs.) for customer inventory restocking in addition to performing some inventory analysis.
