Job summary

QPS Employment Group in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) Coordinator for 1st shift.

The role involves maintaining customer inventory levels, forecasting, creating VMI work orders, cycle counts, and coordinating deliveries with customers and production teams.

Candidates must have a valid driver's license, be able to operate forklifts safely, and work a long day schedule from 6:00am to 4:30pm, Monday through Thursday.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and ability to drive company vehicles.
• Ability to accurately pull and stage products from carousel/VLM.
• Experience creating and releasing VMI work orders.
• Familiar with Min/Max levels and reorder point quantities.
• Experience with weekly cycle counts.

Responsibilities

• Drives company vehicles to transport and deliver product to designated locations in a safe manner.
• Reviews daily shipment schedule and prioritizes daily work to meet customer delivery requirements.
• Accurately pulls product from carousel/Vertical Lift Module (VLM) and stages it for delivery.
• Creates and distributes Short List for future deliveries.
• Follows up with production manager on parts needed for delivery.
• Delivers products to customer and conducts inventory checks at their facilities.

The Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) Coordinator maintains the customer’s inventory replenishment levels and stocks based on approved schedule, customer’s forecast, and agreed-upon targets.
