Job summary

State Street is seeking a Vendor Governance Officer in Massachusetts to oversee vendor relationships, risk management, and contract governance within Global Technology Services. You will coordinate risk assessments, maintain governance artifacts, and support ICA recertifications with cross‑functional teams.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of vendor governance experience, strong documentation discipline, and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and SharePoint, in a regulated

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in Vendor Governance or risk management.
• Experience supporting governance programs, risk assessments, or outsourcing management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work with governance processes, reporting frameworks, controls, and audit requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support vendor governance, outsourcing, and service arrangements.
• Monitor vendor performance against contracts, SLAs, and KPIs.
• Coordinate governance forums, reviews, and discussions.
• Maintain governance artifacts, inventories, and reporting records.
• Track issues, risks, actions, escalations, and remediation through closure.
• Coordinate Third Party Risk Management activities, including risk assessments and due diligence.
• Assist with audit, compliance, and regulatory review activities.
