Job summary

Diamondback Energy seeks a Vendor Compliance Analyst to ensure adherence to contractual requirements, company policies, and OpenTicket/OpenInvoice systems. You will monitor activity, analyze ticket data, and coordinate with vendors and stakeholders to resolve issues, while driving process improvements and training initiatives.

The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, high attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced oilfield environment.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in accounts payable, compliance, auditing, finance, or related field.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor daily OpenTicket activity to identify vendor compliance issues and potential overcharges.
  • Review vendor ticket data to verify compliance with contracts.
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve compliance exceptions.
  • Investigate field ticket discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
  • Track and report recurring compliance trends with actionable recommendations.
  • Coordinate training sessions for vendors and approvers to promote consistency.

This career site is for external applicants only.The Vendor Compliance Analyst serves as a key resource for OpenTicket compliance activities, ensuring adherence to contractual requirements, company policies, and established procedures. This role requires strong analytical, problem-solving, and research skills, as well as a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and advanced knowledge of the OpenInvoice/OpenTicket systems. Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with others are essentialJob Duties and Responsibilities:Include but are not limited to:Monitor daily OpenTicket activity to identify vendor compliance issues, billing discrepancies, and potential overcharges.Review and analyze vendor ticket data to verify compliance with contractual requirements and company standards.Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve compliance exceptions and support ongoing compliance initiatives.Investigate field ticket discrepancies and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues in a timely manner.Serve as the primary point of contact for field ticket compliance inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.Track, analyze, and report recurring compliance trends and issues, providing actionable recommendations when appropriate.Partner with key stakeholders to align ticketing requirements and compliance expectations across departments while supporting continuous process and system improvements.Coordinate, facilitate, and participate in training sessions for vendors and approvers to promote ticket compliance and process consistency.Required Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent.Accounts payable, compliance, auditing, finance, or a related field experience.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPointAbility to work independently and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately and exercise sound professional judgementExcellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.Preferred Qualifications:Experience utilizing Enverus platforms, including OpenInvoice and OpenTicket.Experience with Spotfire reporting and data analytics tools.· Strong collaboration and team-oriented mindset. · Effective verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present information clearly and professionallyFive (5+) years of experience in the oil and gas industry.Working knowledge of oilfield operations, terminology, and industry practices.Diamondback is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
