Job summary

ProKatchers LLC in Massachusetts is seeking a Buyer I to join a fast-paced buying team. You will set up new vendors and products, support launches, and manage catalog data and pricing.

You will build vendor relationships, maintain data and product content, and assist with special projects. Strong Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint skills are required, with prior buying or vendor management experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in buying, purchasing or vendor management.
• Experience in product/catalog management or data administration.
• Strong computer skills with Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of data management and databases is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up new vendors and products/items.
• Support new product launches and coordination.
• Maintain product cost, retail pricing, content and images.
• Manage and maintain product catalog data.
• Build and maintain vendor relationships.
• Assist with special projects and team initiatives.
• Provide backup support and training for Control Buyer activities.
