Job summary

Ingram Micro in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Vendor Business Manager to drive multi-vendor GTM strategies for key electronics partners. You will own the category's P&L, shape negotiations, pricing, and campaigns to maximize revenue and platform utilization.

You will build strong vendor relationships with Microsoft, Acer, AMD, Intel and Qualcomm, coordinate with Sales, Marketing and Supply Chain, and lead strategic initiatives to grow the vendor portfolio while delivering exceptional customer value.

Qualifications

  • Four-year college degree in Business, Marketing or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum five years functional experience including at least three years in vendor management or GTM roles.
  • Ability to ingest inputs across technology, customers, and financials to independently deliver a comprehensive GTM plan.

Responsibilities

  • Ultimate responsibility for the GTM strategy for the category/vendor/set of vendors including sales, marketing, pricing, and inventory tactics.
  • Overall P&L responsibility for the assigned category or vendor.
  • Influence Ingram Micro's strategy for the category through deep understanding of the technology and/or vendor(s).
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key vendors, serving as the main point of contact for vendor communications.
  • Lead negotiations with vendors to secure favorable terms, pricing, and contractual agreements.
  • Coordinate with the supply chain team to ensure timely and accurate product delivery and inventory management.
  • Work closely with Marketing to deliver marketing initiatives, promotions, and campaigns to drive business results.
  • Identify growth opportunities, new product offerings, and potential strategic partnerships.

Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire.
