Job summary

The Honickman Companies in College Point, NY is seeking a Vending Utility Driver (Fountain Sales) to contribute to sales objectives by transporting and delivering product and equipment on your assigned route, safely and efficiently. Responsibilities include organizing routes, recording information, collecting payments when required, and performing other duties as assigned.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, a valid CDL A or B with air brakes, and at least two years of driving

POSITION SUMMARY:

To contribute to your areas sales objectives by transporting and delivering product and/or equipment on your assigned route in a safe and efficient manner.

REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES:

The following responsibilities are general duties that a particular employee in this position may or may not be required to perform. The actual duties required of this position will vary.

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION:

• Equivalent of high school diploma or G.E.D and five years commercial truck driving experience, including standard transmission (if applicable); OR (2) 9 years commercial truck driving experience, including standard transmission (if applicable).
• Minimum two years experience. Must maintain a valid Class A or B CDL with air brakes endorsement. As verified by a current MVR/driver abstract, must meet all qualifications as defined under DOT Regulation 49 CFR 383.51.
• Must meet Company Driver MVR Qualification Standards.
• Must be experienced with working with a Pallet Jack, Store Dolly and Store Jacks.
• Related training or certification.
• Experience working in a team environment.
• Office equipment including, but not limited to, computer, phone, fax machine, copier and calculator.
• MS Office including Word and Excel.
