Job summary

Martin Supply Co is seeking a Vending Support Specialist / Warehouse Associate to support on-site operations and delivery duties. You will manage inventory, load/unload at customer sites, and maintain professional on-site presence.

Responsibilities include learning the ERP system, coordinating with the On-site Manager, stocking vending machines, and performing basic warehouse tasks while upholding safety and customer service standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in inventory management or related fields.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted; stand and move for extended periods.
• Proficient with ERP systems and basic warehouse functions.
• Experience operating material handling equipment preferred.

Status: Non-Exempt

Reports to: Senior Operations Manager

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Become proficient with ERP system.


• Work with the On-site Manager to ensure proper inventory levels are set and maintained.


• Maintain a professional attitude and appearance while on-site at customer and Martin locations.


• Load and unload product on-site at customer and Martin locations.


• Handling VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory) duties


• Fill vending machines and put away inventory at customer locations.


• Communicate back to the branch any concerns or needs of the customer.


• Communicate with On-site Manager and local branch any concerns or needs of the customer.


• Basic warehouse functions including, order picking, stocking, shipping, receiving, cycle counting, and cleaning

Requirements

• Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in inventory management or other industrial or maintenance related fields.


• Strong customer focus, work ethic, and ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.


• Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted


• Stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.


• ability to operate any material handling equipment (forklift, order picker, pallet jack, etc.)


• Understanding of Autocrib software preferred


• Technical aptitude to perform regular service and maintenance on vending machines


• Pass a drug screening and background check
