Job summary

Pepsi MidAmerica is seeking a Vending Service Technician for the Mt Vernon, IL area. The role involves servicing assigned vending and fountain equipment, coordinating with the Vending Service Manager, and ensuring proper operation before work orders are closed.

Responsibilities include installing and removing machines, documenting conditions, maintaining inventory, and responding to service calls and emergencies.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to repeatedly lift 25 pounds or more.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete service calls for all assigned work orders each day.
• Respond promptly to emergency service requests dispatched by Customer Service.
• Install, remove, and replace vending machines, coolers, and fountain equipment as assigned.
• Complete equipment tags documenting the condition of all equipment returned to the Marion Service Department.
• Verify that each piece of equipment is operating properly before closing the work order.
• Maintain accurate inventory records for vending and dispensing parts issued.
• Experience working with small engines is a plus.
