Job summary

Pepsi MidAmerica is seeking a dependable, mechanically inclined vending service technician to join our Chester, IL team. You will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining vending machines, coolers, and fountain equipment, while providing excellent customer service.

Ideal candidates have mechanical aptitude, basic electrical knowledge, and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Excellent work ethic and dependability.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to repeatedly lift and move 25 pounds or more.
• Must reside in or near the Chester, IL area.
• Must maintain a clean-shaven appearance.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned service calls and work orders efficiently each day.
• Respond promptly to emergency service requests as dispatched by Customer Service.
• Install, remove, repair, and replace vending machines, coolers, and fountain equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues to ensure proper operation.
• Verify all equipment is functioning correctly before closing work orders.
• Complete equipment documentation, including condition tags for returned equipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory records for vending and dispensing parts.
• Work safely while delivering exceptional service to customers.
