Job summary

Sodexo is seeking an Equipment Preparation and Installation Technician in the Chicago area. The role involves preparing, installing, relocating, and repairing vending, coffee, and POS equipment to ensure full functionality and compliance at customer sites.

You will move equipment, maintain inventory, and follow strict documentation. Candidates should have 1+ year of related repair experience and a valid driver’s license, with a focus on safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of repair/maintenance experience with commercial equipment (vending, coffee, kiosks, etc.).
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, install, relocate, and repair vending, coffee, and POS equipment to be fully functional and compliant.
• Move equipment to and from customer sites; maintain organized workspace and inventory.
• Follow documentation protocols and communicate with service management and sales for coordinated service.
• Attend shifts on time and perform duties as assigned across accounts.
