Qualifications

• Must possess a valid state driver’s license or a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL).
• Must possess the knowledge and skills necessary to operate a motor vehicle safely.
• Must be able to pass appropriate background checks needed for the specific area of responsibility (e.g. Federal, DOD, Security Clearance, etc.).
• Pass the GSA defensive driving course.

Responsibilities

• Maintains Exchange owned machines daily in an assigned location; inspects, replenishes machines with food and beverages; checks freshness and health codes.
• Requisitions additional vending merchandise to ensure in-stock position; rotates merchandise for freshness.
• Operates and maintains various vending, washing, and clothes dryer machines; handles collections and refunds per procedures.
• Loads/unloads merchandise; uses dollies/carts; secures merchandise for transport to locations.
• Communicates with supervisor on location requests and complaints; assists in planning storage and merchandise layout.
• Identifies new merchandise/product lines and adjusts supply levels based on inventory utilization.
• Sets up and maintains prices in vending machines; relocates and installs new machines as needed or assigns servicing tasks.
