Job summary

State of Oklahoma seeks a Vending Machine Technician to install, repair and maintain automated vending equipment in the Business Enterprise Program. The role trains Licensed Managers who are Blind or Visually Impaired and oversees parts inventory with safety compliance.

Level I/II responsibilities include repairs, inventory control, and documenting maintenance schedules. Travel across Oklahoma is required; background checks apply.

Qualifications

• Two years of vending machine or small appliance maintenance/repair experience.
• One year of experience plus NAMA Vending Technician certification (all three levels).
• Associate Degree or Vocational Certification in Electrical Construction and Maintenance, Refrigeration, Small Appliance Repair, or Vending Machine Repair.

Responsibilities

• Prepare equipment for installation and perform installation, setup, and removal of vending/merchandising equipment.
• Diagnose, repair and refurbish vending/merchandising equipment.
• Repair or replace parts and use manuals and wiring diagrams to locate defects.
• Provide in-service training to Licensed Managers who are Blind or Visually Impaired.
• Maintain parts inventory and prepare maintenance reports.
• Follow safety procedures and agency guidelines.
